In order to test the latest releases of libtorrent 1.0, I have created a PPA: https://launchpad.net/~deluge-team/+arc ... /+packages

There should be no issues using this with Deluge 1.3 releases.

I'm running 1.3.7 on ubuntu 14.04 server, kubuntu 14.04 client.

I'm using the new libtorrent-rasterbar8 now. The client name is indeed missing it seems.

Other than that it works just like 0.16.17. Which is a little disappointing. I was hoping the problem with connections not actualizing would be solved in this version

I am very pleased after I update libtorrent 1.0.4

libtorrent 1.0.5 release

improve ip_voter to avoid flapping
fixed bug when max_peerlist_size was set to 0

I compiled libtorrent 1.0.5 myself for usage in Deluge 1.3.11.
So far it's stable, but certain features are not working anymore, like rate limits (just ignored, it uploads will full bandwidth available).

Any idea? Is Deluge 1.3.11 not fully compatible to libtorrent 1.x?
I am compiling the latest 0.16.x release now which will take another 2 hours on my raspi.
