Deluge.app preferences

This is a very simple application question, I hope, from a new user of Deluge.app 1.3.3 on Mac OS X 10.6.8.
I simply want the default download folders to be on an external drive, but I don't see how to go there in the Preferences dialog box.
Kindly show me what I am missing and thank you very much!
