1.2.3 stopped downloading multiple files in torrent

Post by siraingeal »

I have been using this client with win 7 for a while and had no problems until recently.
Core Version: 1.2.3
libtorrent version: 0.14.10.0
It is now showing errors on some torrents where it tells me the file is too short, but the main problem is that it will no longer download all the files in a torrent if it contains more than one file. It stops and gives me the error that it has reached the end of that part of the file but it will not allow me to restart it, to get the other files in the torrent.

Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be gratefully received.

Thanks
Cas

Can you double check the version you are using please as it sounds like this issue: http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/ticket/1956

It seems that I did upgrade the versions in this problem they are.
version 1.3.3
lib 0.15.6.0

Reading that trouble ticket most of the problems seem to be with larger files. I am having problems with files that are smaller. One was only 380MB.

Thanks.

What is being referred to in that ticket is using a newer version of libtorrent (0.15.9) that I posted in this thread: http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... 20#p160817

The best we can do for now is to recommend using Deluge 1.3.1

It would help users if that were in a stickied thread. "If you are experiencing the following errors with 1.3.3 [or 1.3.2], please downgrade to 1.3.1:
  • ."

and\or maybe in the ReleaseNotes, since those are linked on the site's front page next to the download link.

You are correct that there should be more info so for now I have just stickied the main topic relating to this.
