Moving torrents from Linux to Windows

Post by homercycles »

I'm using ubuntu 9.10 but am about to install Windows 7. Is it possible to move all my torrents and have them still seed OK? I will check anyway but just want to ask to be sure. Thanks.

In your home folder there's a .deluge folder (hit CTRL + H so see it, it's hidden). Copy it to somewhere, on a ntfs partition, then, after you've installed your windows 7 and deluge, rename it to deluge and copy it to %appdata%. When you start deluge, make sure that in your settings your download location pin points to the download place you used on Deluge.
Tried it once and it worked for me.
