Deluge doesnt start

Post by XThief »

I tried 4 of the lastest versions and in all of them deluge doesnt start.
When typing deluge in the terminal, I get this error line at the end: "deluge.xmlrpclib.ProtocolError: <ProtocolError for 127.0.0.1:58846/RPC2: 401 Unauthorized>"
Can anyone Help me with this error?
Thank you in advance

Perhaps you're not using the correct username/password to connect to the daemon. It is likely you are trying to connect to a daemon that is being run by a different user on your system.

But, when I type Deluge in the terminal, it will execute the daemon?
Thank you for your time

Then, it shouldnt be something about not using the right username/password to connect the daemon, right?

Maybe its a port poblem cause when I use the command "deluged -d" in the terminal I get this error:
[INFO ] 17:03:18 core:139 Starting XMLRPC server on port 58846
[INFO ] 17:03:18 core:143 Daemon already running or port not available..

Again. Your deluge daemon is being run by another user on your system.
