1.1.4 : error backing up old config

Post by eldon »

HI,

i'd like to test deluge to replace my azureus

i managed to build and install 1.1.4 sources on my debian stable.

I did download one test torrent successfully but i get the following output in the terminal :
[ERROR ] 23:53:54 config:284 Error backing up old config..

and when i restart deluge all the options are lost, although i do have a ~/.config/deluge directory with files in it

let me know if there's a fix to that problem

thx

The solution right now is to either patch deluge, or just create some dummy files..

touch ~/.config/deluge/core.conf
etc..

ok thx that was a bit stupid sorry

i did copy all the ~/.config/deluge/*.conf.new to ~/.config/deluge/*.conf

and now the options are kept after restart and i don't get the error output.

I got one quick offtopic usage question though, for torrents loaded from the "torrents source" directory can they be added with a "paused" state ?

thx again for the answer

Hum, I have the same problem, with
deluge 1.1.8
after a downgrade of
libtorrent-rasterbar2 and
python-libtorrent

And I don't understand how you solved that ?

Am I offtopic since it concerns 1.1.4 version ?
