Deluge in Ubuntu Linux on PPC Mac

Hallo all:

i just now installed Hardy Heron on the new to me G5 quad 2.5 Power Tower

still have yet to figure out if I can run OSX and Hardy side by side - or how to log on back to OS Tiger

Where I am at - Trying to download Duluge to Ubuntu - wont let me download - saying something in the like of wrong dowload for system

can anyone lend some advice

what version are you trying to install?
you should be using: http://download.deluge-torrent.org/ubun ... .hardy.deb
or if you're on 64 bit: http://download.deluge-torrent.org/ubun ... .hardy.deb

as I am G5 Power Tower - i should be 64 bit - and I tried this from the Download Tab here - off the Ubuntu icon - neither worked

If it's PPC, meaning Power PC, you'll have to compile it on system. i386 or x86-64 builds won't run on PPC.

is there instructions for like mine machine to compile Deluge in Ubuntu that you could direct me to ?

I don't usually go the route of compiling from source but in your case I guess there's not really any other way...

Should be as simple as following the directions of, "Installing From Source."
