Deluge DELETED my existing files while adding new torrent

I've just installed Deluge 1.0.3 on Ubuntu 8.10 RC.

I have my uTorrent downloaded files from Windows on an NTFS partition and just wanted to seed them under Deluge. So I downloaded the torrent from the site and in Deluge Add dialog selected Torrent folder on NTFS partition. Just after that it should recheck the torrent files that are already downloaded and start seeding them.
Instead, Deluge DELETED the existing folder, created an empty one and started the download from 0%! :o How come?

If this is configurable, where can i change that behavior?
