What's the best Blocklist Importer list to use?

Post by Sonic Reducer »

what list is the most complete of all the ip lists out there?

what would be great is a sort of repository that grabs the most common lists as the update and aggregates them into one big list for deluge to use

I use bluetack's safepeer list: http://bluetack5.snowmanuk.net.nyud.net ... splist.zip
which I find to be pretty good however I have no idea if it is the best or not (interested to hear from other people).

EDIT: the list seems to be down yet again

Also, what are the block-list-plugin good for? what kind of IP's do it block, and why?

it blocks known bad ips; which can be anything from peers that deliberately send bad data to media companies that are on the lookout for copyright infringement.

I think it's pretty obvious why you'd want to block those sort of ips ;)
