Deluge GTK on Windows
Deluge GTK on Windows
The only way Deluge can coexist with other Windows GTK apps is to have Deluge installed first and then the other apps (like pidgin, gimp, avidemux etc) which frankly is really retarded. Why can't the windows version of Deluge use a preexisting GTK? All the ports i mentioned can be installed in whichever order and have no problem with the GTK version or the program that installed it (barring maybe big version jumps). Why can't (or rather won't) Deluge use the same GTK as all the others. It does so on Linux so why not on Windows too? I am aware how GTK works on Linux and how it works on Windows, but that is no excuse. Since all GTK windows ports seem to use the same GTK distribution, why won't Deluge do so aswell.
Re: Deluge GTK on Windows
It can, just untick GTK in the installer.
Re: Deluge GTK on Windows
I hope it has changed because in versions before 1.2 the program couldn't start if i had gtk installed and then installed deluge. The last version that i tested these problems with was 1.1.7 or 1.1.8.
