Deluge Won't See 3rd Party Plugins

Post by Stormer »

I'm running Deluge 1.3.12 on Mint Linux 18.1 with Python 2.7, in a Virtual box on a Linux Mint server. The pre-installed plugins work fine, but deluge will not see any of the 3rd party plugins in the ~/.config/deluge/plugins folder. Everything I have been able to find refers to conflicts in python versions, but I have tried several versions of each plugin with different python versions and it doesn't recognize any of them. Any help would be appreciated. BTW I'm running libtorrent V 1.0.7.0

Can you go to the plugin section of the preferences and try adding the .egg files from there?

I did, I have tried both methods of installing. I have verified the egg files are in the plugins folder, but then I press "rescan plug-ins" they don't show up. :\

Figured it out.. I failed to realize there were two plugin folders, one for the client and one for the daemon. Thanks :)
