Hey guys! I've been trying to set up my feed with some subscriptions, and I believe I have everything set up right. The only thing is that it doesn't auto update and download the torrents. It works when I click run this program, but it doesn't work automatically like I thought it would. I set it up through the thin client on Mac. Does that matter? I've restarted Deluge and that doesn't get it going either. Any suggestions guys?
Edit: I tried to disable the plugin and then enable it and it won't put a check part and pull up the plugin menu on the left hand side.

What OS and python version do you have on the computer running the daemon, and python version on your Mac?Holbert wrote:Hey guys! Do you see any errors when starting the daemon? What do you see in the log window in YaRSS2?
Also starting the daemon and gtkui with logging would help. http://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/Faq# ... ingenabled I'm not really sure how to enable logging when starting Deluge from a Mac app bundle...
What do you mean by "It works when I click run this program." Does it actually add the torrent to deluge? If that is the case, I don't understand why it would start failing to enable the plugin.
When reporting issues, please include any relevant information such as OS (and version), python version (for Windows users this depends on which Deluge installer was used), Deluge version and plugin version.
Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
IDK what caused it to start working, but it seems to be working now! Does the thin client have to be open and connected to the box for the plugin to work? I'd like to be able to just close my MacBook and know that everything was doing it's thing server side.bro wrote:What OS and python version do you have on the computer running the daemon, and python version on your Mac?Holbert wrote:Hey guys! It'll run fine on the daemon with no clients connected.Holbert wrote:IDK what caused it to start working, but it seems to be working now! Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
Hi Bro,
I have recently got Deluge on a seedbox i rent, i have read through every post in this forum 3 times and i still can't figure out what i am doing wrong.
I run deluge through the WebUi so i don't actually have deluge installed on my PC (Win7)
The version of python on my seedbox is 2.6.6 so i have directed deluge to install the 2.6.egg and it loads it fine and it shows up in the plugins list
but when i check the YaRSS2 box, i click apply then ok on the WebUI and when i go back into preferences it unchecks itself. I try restarting deluge via ssh (which i am not extremely familiar with)
but it does the same thing.
The only thing i can't seem to do is kill deluge via ssh because the company that runs the seedbox have some sort of script set up to auto restart the application when it is killed, so there is little to no downtime
and because it auto restarts im not sure i can run it in debug mode
I could really really really use this script, i just don't know what to do.
I would love some suggestions
Thank you
*Edit - and to be honest im quite the noob with this sort of stuff, i have become a little familiar with thing, after spending hours trying to research this stuff, im not entirely sure what a daemon is

Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
Hi,
first...thanks for this great plugin.
I think I have found a problem with BtiTracker feeds. This is the website of BtiTracker software:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/btit-tracker/
http://www.btiteam.org/
I have correctly configured YaRSS2 1.1.3 in my deluge 1.3.5 running in xubuntu 12.04 x86_64. In the plugin configuration I have added two different feeds from differents trackers. Both trackers use BtiTracker software and I get the same error in both. In the BtiTracker feeds the name of the torrent which matches with the regex links to the torrent details page, not to the torrent file. After the torrent details link there is another link in the feed which points to the .torrent file.
It seems the regex in YaRSS2 is matching with the torrent title and following the link to the torrent details page, so it can´t find the right torrent file.
This is what I am getting in YaRSS2 log:
anyone knows if there is any way to fix this?
thanks in advance.

Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
There is no WebUI support for YaRRS2, so you'll have to do all the configurations through the (GTKUI) Client. The daemon is the server part of Deluge that runs without starting a graphical interface.Nokism wrote:Hi Bro,

When installing Deluge on your desktop machine, Deluge will automatically start the daemon so that it will act as one program, but it is in fact two separate components.

Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
Can you provide me with the RSS feed source (The XML data)? That would be make it easier to test and find out why it doesn't work. I think it might be already fixed in development repo, but to confirm I'd have to test.esplinter wrote:Hi,

Re: [Plugin] YaRSS2 - RSS plugin with GTKUI support
I am having problems processing the subscription link from kat.ph.
The RSS feed it gives links to a html page instead of a torrent file. I spent some time with Yahoo Pipes and reformated the rss feed so the link points directly to the torrent file however I am still getting
I even spent the time to make it follow redirects so I get the exact file name it is trying to download. I can add this URL into deluge and it adds it fine but I can't figure out why YaRSS2 won't add it. Here is an example of the RSS file AFTER processing from Yahoo Pipes.
The URL it is trying to process is https://torcache.net/torrent/DA23D2C76E ... 58.torrent
If I can provide any more information please let me know, I simply can't figure out why it is not processing the file.
