Enable Local Peer Discovery for Private Torrent
It seems that local peer discovery (LPD) is disabled when the torrent's private flag is set to true. It would be nice if this could be overridden in the options.

If I'm not mistaking, the p2p protocol states that if a torrent is marked as private, you cannot use the Local Peer Discovery option... at least that's what I remember from back when I was workin' on a personal p2p client.

It could be that too, but I thought it was just supposed to disable DHT for the private ones. Some clarification could help.
