Numbers in parentheses
Numbers in parentheses
I know what seeders and peers are but I don't know the difference between the numbers that are in parentheses and the ones that are not. I see this on most clients but have never understood the difference in the numbers. Would someone please satisfy my curiosity? Also want to say that Deluge is without a doubt, hands down, the BEST client I have ever used. I love all it's capabilities plus its great eye appeal. Tremendous job to the development team.

x = connected to you
y = in swarm but not connected to you

Re: Numbers in parentheses
The bottom picture is after downloading a file for about 12 hours in one session. Are you sure it works?
Perhaps it is good a good idea to add this info to the FAQ.
Update: Something's definitely wrong here. The upper picture is the very same file several hours later after a reboot.

yes, i'm sure it works. you quite often get bad pieces that you have to redownload, etc, and total downloaded shows the size on your hdmikewhatever wrote:The picture below is after downloading a file for about 12 hours in one session. Are you sure it works?

Re: Numbers in parentheses
So, does that mean that 717 Mib got downloaded but 666 got written to disk? How do you interpret the Upload line: 888 Mib (430 Mib)?
