New version removes ubuntu menu entry?
New version removes ubuntu menu entry?
On hardy 64 bit, the menu entry that was located at Apps>internet>deluge is gone after upgrading from 0.5.9.1 to 0.5.9.2. Can anyone else confirm this?

I have the same problem after the new update. I am using Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit.
I can't associate deluge with torrent files , how do I run Deluge without using Terminal?

Re: New version removes ubuntu menu entry?
Confirmed again, ubuntu 8.04 32bit. Also, for some reason I cannot update from 0.5.8.9 - there seems to be some conflict between between deluge-common and versions 0.5.9.0 and above, and the installation fails. If I completely uninstall 0.5.8.9 and then grab the 0.5.9.2 .deb then it will install with the disappearing menu and no association with torrent files as mentioned above.

A screencap of the installation of versions after 0.5.8.9 failing is attached.

Same here. To answer the question: Right-click on the desktop, select "Create Launcher", and use "deluge" in the "command" field. It should add the proper icon automatically.kakorot wrote:I can't associate deluge with torrent files , how do I run Deluge without using Terminal?
Re: New version removes ubuntu menu entry?
I was able to successfully reinstall 0.5.9.1 by first uninstalling Deluge 0.5.9.2 in Synaptic Package Manager, then installing 0.5.9.1 deb.
