I've installed deluge on a headless Ubuntu 16.04 and while running the command:
"sudo adduser --disabled-password --system --home /var/lib/deluge --gecos "Deluge service" --group deluge"
I misspelled --disabled-password and that portion didn't work. Re-running the command was ineffective because the directories were already created. maybe it did make the right changes though. . . I continued with my installation and everything appears to be working fine, but. . . Am I going to run into any issues down the line here? What are the consequences of this? It seems that I can't go unpunished for this. lol.
Mishap in install... Effects??!
Re: Mishap in install... Effects??!
You can always delete the user and the home directory and make it again (userdel command) but if all works I do not see the necessity.
If you proceed do not forget to backup the /var/lib/deluge/.config/deluge folder fist (settings, loaded torrents, etc).
