Running:
Deluged 1.3.10 + deluge-web
libtorrent 0.16.18.0
Debian Linux
I have deluged fully set up using port 2002 (deluged daemon) and 8080 (deluge-web)
From my internal network i can connect using 'deluge device IP':8080
I have port-forwarded port 8080 to the deluge device, however from a public network (AKA my phone, tor or friend) i can't connect with error: 504 site cannot be reached.
I have already added 8080 to iptables on debian too.
I cannot switch it to port 80 as this is being used by my main apache webserver.
anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be?
Cant remotly connect. WebGUI
Re: Cant remotly connect. WebGUI
Just a possibility, not a definitive answer, but many ISPs block port 8080 as it is used by commonly abused proxy servers. Try using another port.

tried changing it to 9001 but still same result. pretty sure its not my network either due to already running the webserver without issues.

Verify that any port you think is open is actually open:

Re: Cant remotly connect. WebGUI
checked using nmap.
80 is open (running through DMZ so understandable)
8080 closed (after port change)
9001 filtered (forwarded)

Re: Cant remotly connect. WebGUI
well im running dd-wrt on my router and i have no idea why but it wasnt correctly opening the ports. rather than just redirecting them to a loopback interface.
