Hello, I do not know much about linux.
I do have a deluge running on my linux computer.
How do I update it? should I use install command?
Will it overwrite all setting?

Or is there a different way?

With linux the usual way to update any program is to wait until the update manager tells you there is an update. Ubuntu doesn't update apps often, but you could look into adding the ubuntu ppa. How did you install deluge the first time?

None of the settings will be overwritten. All of your settings are saved in /home/user-name/.config/deluge
