Did anyone hear about Hadopi ? Can you use deluge with Hide My Ass ?

Hi !

Hadopi is a french *thing* which tracks bittorrent users IPs who download certain movies/series (you don't know which ones obviuously ;) )
Did anyone heard of that ? I received my first warning and I'm supposed to lay low for 6 months but 6 months is a long time. I risk a 1500 euros fine.

A simple solution to that is to use a proxy like Hide My Ass.
However I wondered if it was ok with them to use bittorrent with their servers ?
Also, I suppose that you shouldn't use a server in the US (which must be super monitored as well) but where then ?
Finally, are there any settings in deluge to tell it to use the VPN or is it done automatically ? (I already configured the VPN on my synology box)

I heard of it and I am using VPN in France to avoid this penalty.

VPN is basically hide your location or IP and give one of their own IP. This mean no one will ever see your activities online.

My preferred VPN choice is PureVPN.
