How to get group write permission on Synology?

So I am trying my luck here -->

I would like to switch from r(u)torrent to deluge on my synology box. However I am having trouble with the file permissions.
When deluge downloads it sets the files and folders to not be group writeable. This is a problem for me since couchpotato and sickbeard need to be able to unpack downloads. Without write permission that fails.

From this I gathered that the standard solution in a "normal" install is to set the umask:
