AutoAdd - error soon after starting download

Post by maxwolfie »

Hi all, I am new to Deluge so please bear with me ;)

I have a fresh install with AutoAdd set up - upon adding a *.torrent file into one of my configured watch directories, the torrent will load into the UI and start downloading. Within a matter of seconds, I then get the error "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process", which then references the folder/file in question. The download then halts.

The same *.torrent will work fine if I manually add it and manually select a Download Location and Move Completed Location. However, this is obviously a lot more laborious than simply adding a *.torrent file to a watched folder of my choosing.

I believe that perhaps the mover process is trying to move the file prematurely, and is jamming up the download.

Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem. My only solution is to close Deluge and re-open. Has anyone found the cause of this error?

I'd love to provide logs, but I'm not that technically advanced. If you would be so kind, could you run through the procedure?

Many thanks.
