Deluge working with Sickbeard

Post by jabbyjim »

Has anyone gotten these two to work together nicely? I am able to get uTorrent to work just find but I really need and want it to work with Deluge.

Do I have the right settings between the two? (see screenshot). I'm confused what Deluge Host number would be? Incoming, outgoing, WebUI (added the plugin), Deamon? I tried them all and they all failed. I have deluge open in the firewall also.

It's probably looking to connect to the json api. If so you'll have to be running the webui and give those credentials.

Thanks! I suspected I needed the addon but ... well.. there was a change in the error, but still nothing..

I was expecting the UI to have a password setting or something but its just a port. When I change SB to that port I get the error.. "Error: Unable to get Deluge Authentication, check your config!"

so close!!

er .. or did you mean I have to load up Deluge via a web interface?

The webui password is 'deluge' by default I believe. Try logging in to the webui yourself first.
