Error: Host not found (authoritative)..

Hello!
I'm trying to setup my new seedbox (Ubuntu 12.04, virtual via hyper-v), i've installed deluged and opened up the ports I need and configured them in deluge. However, when I try to add a new torrent, I get "Error: Host not found (authoritative)" in the statustab. I've googled for some time now but I cannot find Anything usefull.. Would really appreciate any help I could get! Thanks in advance!

Edit: I installed deluge with apt-get install deluged, so its running 1.3.5

Resolved, the problem was the DNS lookup in ubuntu, I edited /etc/resolv.conf to use the correct DNS and then restarted the networking.

Could you elaborate on what "proper dns" means? Is this related to your home isp or a seedbox?
