New torrents not starting! Just stuck checking at 0.00%

Hey guys, I've been using Deluge fine for a few weeks now. I'm running 1.3.0 on Linux Mint 10 and just last night it started playing up on me. I had two torrents downloading (one 700mb, one 14gig) and about 180 seeding and then the downloading torrents just stopped. They have seeded since, but won't download a single bit even though they have plenty of seeders. I've tried deleting these torrents and re-adding them, but they just check what's been downloaded and get stuck again.

I discovered that this problem is even work just now when I added another torrent, instead of starting, it gets a "checking" status and then just stays at 0/00% checked. This is getting pretty annoying, anyone know what could be causing this?

Apart from this, I'm loving my Deluge and Linux experience so far!

Thanks,
~Brad

Stuck checking is nearly always associated with Deluge read permissions for the torrent data directory or missing/full disk.

Well it's been working fine for the last few weeks and I haven't changed anything =\

The disk has 75gb free space and it's still seeding :(

Scratch that. It worked for like 30 seconds then stopped again

I just sudo umounted the drive then remounted it and it worked. Bit annoying, but at least I fixed it.

You can test permission problems by changing the download location to the deluge users home directory.

Also the latest version of Deluge is 1.3.1 and you could try latest libtorrent 0.15.x

If you still have problems providing a debug log is useful
