Hidden seeds

Greetings All
This is almost the same as:

This is on a Slackware 12.2 box.
The torrents are all present in the lower STATUS > FILES pane in the client and we can open and read them fine but we can not find them on the hard disc anywhere.
These are TXT, PDF WAV & MP3 files in our language program.

Any clues would be appreciated, it is weeks of shared work.
