I tried to install dependency but couldn't find any lib boost 1.34 for ubuntu feisty
Hi,
I'm runing with Ubuntu 7.04 64 bits, and I've the same problem.
It's because deluge has been built with "libboost-data-time1.34, but the latest release for Ubuntu is 1.33.1
Developpers have been faster than Canonical
that's because 1.34 is in gutsy :\ it looks like it has several dependencies that it requires. We'll just have to wait for them to sort it out, otherwise, we'll have to wait for gutsy heh
i still have 0.53RC2 installed, I've uploaded it to sendspace if it's any consolation: http://www.sendspace.com/file/n32sdg
md5: 9c8fba86ec39716cd51d62e40679e4d0
I've had a problem installing, if the developer's could at least give a third-party repository to go to (like "deb http://[whatever] feisty main") that would be great cause I can't install 0.5.3 on Ubuntu Feisty because it can't find the libboost-date-time1.34.0 ...

this is now fixed. please redownload the deb. sorry about that :/

Going back to 0.53 RC2.
uh, that's, well, uh, crazy. you're saying you dont have libc6 installed but you're running feisty? that's....not even possible. ?
yes, and the synaptic in the background shows libc6 as installed. so you need to give us a more detailed error message than that. try dpkg -i foo.deb and post everything that it gives you. also post cat /etc/issue
