Using:
Windows 7 64 bit
Deluge 1.3.11 python 2.7 version
libtorrent 1.0.4.0
browsebutton 0.1.7
LabelPlus 0.3.1.0
ltConfig 0.2.4.1
YaRSS2 1.3.3

Server 2012. Deluge opens but none of the menus work, it says no incoming connections along the bottom. THis is a fresh install of 1.3.11 Python 2.7

Sounds like the daemon is crashing for you like everyone else. That sucks.

Still, there were 2 other people that reported it worked. Weird how it is like that with my version and the original posters. Seems hit or miss.

You did unzip it right?

Here is a 1.0.3 I extracted from the msi on the libtorrent site.
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/libtorr ... ibtorrent/)

http://shryp.ashendust.com/deluge/libto ... yd-1.0.3.0

Just remove the -1.0.3 extention from the file.

Same results, The GUI will open but the daemon will not.

Well here is something that will confuse you. I was mucking around with deluge tonight, started it up still couldn't get the GUI to connect to it but on my router I See traffic a lot of it, I look in my torrent download folder and deluge is downloading away stuff from my RSS feeds. So I can't connect to it using the GUI or web interface but it downloads, What is up with that. Also tonight I tried to run it in Window 7 mode on Server 2012 and didn't give me access.

I tried to build a copy of 1.0.4 myself a few times but I don't do this sort of stuff normally and can never get it to work. I am willing to give you teamviewer access to my box if you wanna give it a try.

I have never used teamviewer. That is odd that the dameon is running, but the client won't connect. Are you running it locally or on separate computers? Maybe you just have the authentication for remote connections set up wrong? Did you do the thin client setup or the classic setup? I just started using Deluge somewhat recently so I don't really know how everything works.

Teamviewer is just a remote access program. Running Deluge on the local machine but I tried a remote client but that doesn't connect either.

Small Victory: Uninstalled Deluge, Deleted the deluge directory under the users profile, reinstalled Deluge and I got control of it again. ANd your libtorrent works on it now.

Awesome! I almost wonder if the problems are related to some settings some people have set. Maybe libtorrent renamed some variable or something and trying to load the old config on the new version is causing some kind of conflict.

None of the attached files here, nor my own build of libtorrent 1.0.4 work. I always get the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "deluge\ui\gtkui\gtkui.py", line 349, in _on_reactor_start
File "deluge\ui\client.py", line 559, in start_classic_mode
File "deluge\ui\client.py", line 432, in __init__
File "deluge\core\daemon.py", line 136, in __init__
File "deluge\core\core.py", line 36, in <module>
File "deluge\_libtorrent.py", line 59, in <module>
ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.

Connecting to Daemon is a no go as well.

I got my custom built libtorrent 1.0.5 to work, by doing the following:

- Copy Deluge user folder (ie C:\Users\user1\AppData\Roaming\deluge), to a safe place (desktop).
- Uninstall Deluge.
- Install Deluge Python 2.7 (http://download.deluge-torrent.org/windows/py2.7/)
- Place custom libtorrent in Deluge install directory.
- Copy Deluge user folder back
- Launch Deluge.
