Frontend incorrectly telling remote daemon file destination

Post by Kaotiq »

I have a seedbox running gentoo linux with deluge daemon.

I connect to this box, use an ssh tunnel to tunnel the connection from the deluge front end to the daemon.

When I use PC-BSD and version 1.3.6 everything works perfectly.

I have a similar setup on a windows 8 box, it have version 1.3.11 there.

Same tunnel setup, connects to daemon fine, can see torrents, can delete torrents and change their state, however if I try to add a torrent it is not being added properly, the file destination is / which obviously I can't write to and the torrent ends up in error state with the permission denied problem.

Note on the BSD box everything works but the windows box I can't add torrents.

If I change where the file is to be downloaded the path ends up being wrong as well (including a mix of / & \ characters).

Ideas ?

Or should I just go back to running on bsd ?
