Re: Libtorrent 1.0.4 compiled - for those with speed issues

You can install over the older one without uninstalling, however myself and a couple other people noticed that installing the py2.7 version on top of the py2.6 version causes crashes when trying to start it. That is why I said uninstall first. Uninstall will delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\...

Re: Libtorrent 1.0.4 compiled - for those with speed issues

Axel48: You don't have to compile anything. Also, you don't need python installed on your computer. It is automatically included with deluge as a runtime. Uninstall deluge from your computer. (The add/remove thing will leave your settings and current downloads in the app data folder) Install the py2...

Try the 1.0.5 version. Also, you might have to uninstall your deluge and install the py2.7 version.

Re: The "Next announce" problem again

If you are using Windows there is a thread about it. For linux you will have to add the ppa or build from source.

Re: Feature suggestion: Create folder checkbox

I have recently found out you can rename the folder as a work around for this. In the GUI just hit F2 or double click on the folder name in the files tab. This will let you rename the folder. So in essence if you save the torrent to D:\ and then rename the folder to "Downloads" the files g...

Re: Computer shut down due to power outage-- now no torrents

One trick that might help you is to add several torrents at once and then you can set the download location for one of them and then click apply to all torrents.

I have libtorrent 1.0.5 as well, but no backup files. Hopefully that is something someone was working on for the next update.

Re: Computer shut down due to power outage-- now no torrents

I have the torrents.fastresume and torrent.state, but no .bak files. My .fastresume is 2399 KB and my .state is 65 KB. Are yours similar or are yours 0 bytes? If yours are 0 bytes then they are definitely corrupted. While it doesn't address your current problem or the fact that apparently deluge do...

Re: Computer shut down due to power outage-- now no torrents

You need more than just the .torrent files what you want to look for also is torrents.fastresume and torrents.state both should have a .bak which is a backup of those and they may hold a better version of the state your client was in before the power loss. That sounds good in theory, but looking at...
