Re: Deluge keeps downloading stuff I SPECIFICALLY told not t

YES, if at all possible hide them in a cache file somewhere from the average user's view and maybe then, finally, we won't have people coming in every few days bitching and complaining they have extra files they didn't want taking up all their valuable hdd space. Or Deluge downloading files they spe...

Re: Port Configuration Confusion

Yes, it does need different ports, but you can actually use random for outgoing ports without problem. It should make it through the firewall/router since it is originating from your computer. (it does for mine anyway)

Re: Deluge 1.3.0_RC1 Missing Torrents

I'm thinking it has something to do with account control... I've had this happen before after a fresh install for instance, and with pidgin too, when it happens try just closing and reopening it, that should be all that's needed. Re: Last Stable Deluge for WinXP?

Each version comes with the option or capability to install gtk, so, to answer your question no, you do not need to install rc2 or gtk before installing final version. (in the best practice you should uninstall old versions before installing new versions, but again it shouldn't be necessary unless y...

Re: No Shortcut

Go to the folder where it was installed (likely c:/program files/deluge) and right click the file deluge.exe and select create shortcut, move this shortcut file to wherever you want it.

Re: Newbie question regarding connected seeds and peers

Does the site list you as connectible? A lot of times private sites like or prefer everyone to be connectible... if not this could point to port or firewall not configured properly.
Also make sure that the port you set for Deluge you are not trying to use for anything else at the same time.
