Re: Deluge blank screen
According to the download page , your PPA repository source is correct. To double-check, you could delete the line from /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d Then, do the usual: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade If there are no errors, re-add the PPA (adds GPG key automatically) and c...

Re: Tracker ranking?
normally it will only announce to the first tracker Is it possible to announce to more than one Tracker? Only 1 tracker is sent an announcement? Is that a limitation of libtorrent or deluge? I've always wondered why deluge's GTK interface only displayed 2 tracker hostname fields on the Status and D...

Making scheduler green doesn't uncap current hour
Deluge 1.3.1, Windows XP Pro x64: I'm seeding 2 torrents. The Scheduler "slow settings" are currently active and set lower than the main Bandwidth settings. I decide to change the current hour to green (fast settings) and hit Apply or OK. This should uncap the slow settings immediately (ag...

other conceivable uses Now you're changing the goal. :P ...which is ok. Yes, the initial proposal is a small step toward many possible goals, but it presented a very specific use for the data, so it's that on which I've been focusing while proposing revisions. Just to pick one: Say you're on a mete...

Re: Amount of DHT nodes very different on other clients
I didn't realise this is more likely a libtorrent issue, not Deluge's. Sorry for the mis-post.

Re: DHT nodes sometimes drops to 1
Sorry. I didn't realise this is more likely a libtorrent issue, not Deluge's. Just to update for this thread's posterity, my Deluge now has 1 DHT node but is seeding to 2 peers on only one active torrent, and that torrent only has UDP trackers. So, I'm guessing those peers were discovered from the t...

DHT nodes sometimes drops to 1
After leaving Deluge 1.3.1 open for several hours (Windows XP Pro x64), I sometimes find it idle (no connected peers) with only 1 DHT node. Upon restarting Deluge, I return to about 180 nodes (my usual maximum), and transfers resume within a minute or so. I've only been seeding lately, so the transf...

Amount of DHT nodes very different on other clients
Curious: I get a maximum of about 180 DHT nodes on Deluge 1.3.1 (1.3.3 is buggy for me) but over 300 on uTorrent 3.1. How could the amount of DHT nodes be so different? Both have been open side-by-side for over 24 hours, and Deluge has always gotten about 180 in past sessions. I noticed this after r...

Re: [Request] Statusbar shows remaining size incomplete torr
The combination of those two seems to me particularly useful. Agreed, very much so. Perhaps a different way of doing this would be a pop-up warning when a torrent is first added, when the folder of an incomplete torrent is moved, or when the priority of any of its files is changed from "do not...
