Deluge keeps downloading to my "~/" folder
Client: 1.3.5 libtorrent: 0.16.2.0 OS: Arch Linux i686, up to date Anything I try to download is being downloaded to the user folder, regardless of whatever destination I choose. I can't move anything either (right click - Move Storage). The first thing that popped into my head was to close Deluge, ...

SOLVED!
A year and a half or so later I can finally mark this thread as [SOLVED].
You can either install gconf-editor and manually uncheck apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop or just run "gconftool-2 -t bool /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop -s false", since Deluge is GTK2-based.

Re: Shortening '/usr/bin/deluge' in Conky
Holy crap, it worked... Thank you! I installed "python2-setproctitle" from the AUR and I copied the (edited) gtkui.py and ui.py files to their respective folders: # Create a backup first (to the user folder) cp /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/deluge/ui/gtkui/gtkui.py ~/gtkui.py.bak cp /us...

[SOLVED] Shortening '/usr/bin/deluge' in Conky (and top)
Is there a way to shorten it to just "deluge"? Firefox, Chromium and everything else looks normal. This is also displayed in top, by the way... Why is that?
PS: I'm using Arch Linux i686 with the latest Conky.

Re: If the drive is full, Deluge loses track of ALL torrents
There is a main state file and a fastresume one that store name mappings and torrent state so if anything happens to them then there is no way to determine what values to send to libtorrent when starting the application again. This means that the other ticket about warning or pausing all torrent wh...

Re: If the drive is full, Deluge loses track of ALL torrents
The main one is seed mode that will enable you to tell Deluge that the torrents do not need checking. Let's hope it will be enabled by default. Right now I'm guessing Deluge uses just one file with all the hashes for all the torrents. And if it can't write to it, the seeding progress for each and e...

Re: If the drive is full, Deluge loses track of ALL torrents
No, the issue was that logrotate didn't compress them and iptables was logging every single fricken connection from every single website (plus ads), deluge connections, xchat connections, etc. There were like 300+ MB files, each, in /var/log/. Now I have that under control (I think). I set it to 100...

If the drive is full, Deluge loses track of ALL torrents!
I keep my var folder, home, etc on one single, root partition. If the root drive is full, Deluge loses track of ALL torrents and is a real PITA re-hashing everything from scratch. This has happened to me on THREE separate occasions: - First time this happened was because I forgot to set the download...

Deluge 1.3.2 "Move Storage" option moved the entire folder
I downloaded a "Wallpapers" torrent over a folder with the exact same name and when I tried to separate these two by using the "Move Storage" option, it didn't move just the files and folders from the torrent, it moved the entire folder ! And I think it may have overwritten some ...

Re: Getting constant "Checking 0.00%" and "Paused 0.00%" sta
Yes, those two files are definitely part of the package. Uninstalling Deluge and reinstalling it would make them the default files that come with 1.3.2.
Deluge definitely works better if I run it in debug mode. Torrents start checking again after I click Resume.
