Well I'm sorry I have no idea. There must be something wrong with your system installation as no-one else has reported a freezing problem like this.

My final suggestion would be to upgrade your distro as its quite old.

Can you post the debug log

deluge-gtk -L debug -l deluge.log

Are you simply running deluge on your desktop? Have you tried it in classic mode?

A few notes:
deluged is the standalone daemon
deluge-gtk (and deluge) is the gui
You should not need to run them with sudo

can you see the plugins in deluge-console locally to deluged?

Can you verify the version with deluge --v and try deleting your config.

What version of deluge you are running? I can only see a very old version 1.2.0 in the PPA.

The latest version is now 1.3.1 and I am afraid we cannot support older versions.

The state folder within config contains all your torrents plus the state and fastresume files. Copy these over and you should be sorted.

Are you asking if seed hash skip will be implemented? If so it is something that im sure will be implemented as it is now in latest lt 0.15

Im afraid that it is not possible with webui and the button is for future functionality.

The only way would be to use deluge-gtk in thinclient mode over ssh. See this post
