Re: Connecting to peers takes a long time
Sorry to hear that, that's really frustrating I can imagine and not just a little thing to ignore. Hope the ticket helps and if I ever hear something related to help, then i'll sure drop you a line of course.

Re: Connecting to peers takes a long time
You're welcome mate :) When I enabled announce_to_all_trackers then I also wanted to add the tier option too, but didn't because I checked the log(I use the console-client) and saw that the single option made deluge(libtorrent) connect to all trackers and tiers in parallel and use all that replied b...

Re: Connecting to peers takes a long time
Hi Shamael :) Yeah, qbittorrent also sets both these when enabling to use all trackers(I could see from the source). The thing you describe is exactly how I also interpreted the libtorrent docs also, though I have tested it out, and the announce_to_all_trackers does it all by itself i.e. both all ti...

Re: Connecting to peers takes a long time
No disturbance :) Hmm, it's hard to say because some torrents only have 1 or 2 trackers and others have a bunch. When there are several trackers it is also usual that some of them fail for various reasons, e.g. overloaded or offline etc. If the torrent/magnet you used only had two trackers in it, th...

Re: Connecting to peers takes a long time
Sorry I seem to have a tendency to blab on endlessly i've noticed, lol :) Anyway, I would advice just adding the tracker option as you stated, which pretty much mimicks how utorrent behaves in that regard. If you wanna fully mimick utorrent for this, then instead use the option "announce_to_all...

Re: Connecting to peers takes a long time
I have switched back and fourth from deluge to qbittorrent countless times, so much that I made a shell script that does it for me with settings applied and removing the other client etc, lol(changeclient.sh <deluge|qbittorrent>). Anyway, the biggest difference speedwise between the two, is that as ...

Re: [Plugin] LabelPlus v0.3.2.2
i do have a small issue though - when adding torrents through magnet/hash the autolabel won't assign the requested labels automatically (when using the "any file"), but will do so correctly via the "apply to existing torrents". Yeah, magnet/hash torrents are added right away to ...

Re: Proxy better?
A paid proxy has no worse downtime than a VPN(they use multiple IPs in different countries too, just like VPNs) and you won't get a letter if using a libtorrent-based client with force-proxy enabled or newer utorrent(-server) properly configured too, and using https trackers just in case. You get fu...

Re: Proxy Issues
Yes there are ways to do that, but it needs the 3'rd party plugin ltconfig with defined options force_proxy and anonymous_mode. Deluge just sends the configured proxy settings to libtorrent and that's it with regards to deluge. I've mailed with the author of libtorrent several times about this, + st...
