Deluge still alive?
Just stopped by and I'm rather surprised that while it's only hanging on by a thread, that deluge is still alive. It sure is dieing one slow horrid death. Oh well. I guess that's what happens when you abandon your users and get rid of your good devs. *shrugs* P.S. Can't wait for the fork when contro...

Re: 1.0.0_RC8 (0.9.08) Released
... messages via port 25/995 - in some random intervals, but rather short? (1-6 minutes) I've got blocked on my network several times, for several hours (in total that would be a 2-4 days) ..... Cheers, Paziek. port 25 is SMTP and port 995 is POP3S; it sounds like you've got a program checking for ...

Re: 1.0.0_RC8 (0.9.08) Released
Sorry about double posting. BUG: I just removed 0.5.9.3 from my XP box along with the deluge folder in my user directory. I installed 1.0-RC8 fresh and when launching deluge I get a blank white window that doesn't respond at all. I thought maybe having python2.5 installed was causing problems so I r...

forum smilies
Am I the only one that thinks the smilies/emoticons on this forum are hideous?
The most common of them look like aliens to me.

Just throwing that out there. heh

Re: Timed Random Port
That looks like it would work great if the daemon ran in a DMZ(which would be very insecure). A specified port range or list of ports would be optimal, but I can imagine the code to do that would be considerably different from what you provided. If changing the options for the daemon are as easy as ...

Timed Random Port
I suggest a random port changer plugin. When enabled the plugin would change the client to run on a different random port after a set amount of time. This would work best if it also caused the each torrent to re-announce to the tracker. I don't know if this would take care of any current ISP issues,...

Re: 1.0.0_RC7 (0.9.07) Released
Alright I've now configured it to allow remote connections. Two more questions (can't try anything atm 'cause I'm at work): 1. Do I have to edit all settings using the CLI interface or can I edit them in the GUI once I've connected to the daemon? 2. Can I connect to my daemon at home from work if I...

Re: 1.0.0_RC7 (0.9.07) Released
BUG: sadly I went from version 0.9.5.3 to 1.0-RC7 today. I moved all the saved ".torrent" files from "~/.config/deluge" to "~/torrentfiles" then I deleted "~/.config/deluge" manually before installing RC7. RC7 started up fine in daemon mode and I connected to ...

Re: 1.0.0_RC5 (0.9.05) Released
Feature Request: password for connecting to deluged daemon It would be very nice to be able to access deluged on my remote seedbox with the gtk ui at home. For now I'll have to continue using an ssh tunnel or the webui. :P Hey look I quoted myself. :P the purpose of separating the ui and core is so...
