Re: Problems with some torrents, not others...

I realize you volunteer your time and I'm grateful for the help (and love Scotland by the way, I just noticed your location); but I'm not sure why you won't answer the question about just installing the updated libtorrent. When something breaks on my car, I don't throw the whole car out. I'm not sur...

Re: Problems with some torrents, not others...

Okay, but can you tell me if I can install the new libtorrent with Deluge 1.3.5? I understand you want me to install 1.3.7; but I'd like to try upgrading the libtorrent first. I'm reluctant to upgrade because usually in my experience these upgrades cause as many problems as they solve. Since Deluge ...

Re: Problems with some torrents, not others...

Can 0.16 be used with 1.3.5? As I noted, there seem to be issues with 1.3.7, so I'm a bit reluctant to upgrade. And how do I tell which version of the pinned file I need? The PY version or not?

Install 1.3.7 alongside 1.3.5?

Sorry to post so many questions, I hope this doesn't contravene etiquette. Is it possible to install 1.3.7 alongside my current installation? Obviously in a different folder, etc. I wouldn't run them at the same time; but I'm hoping that way I can keep seeding my old torrents and not risk messing th...

Re: Problems with some torrents, not others...

I'm a bit concerned about upgrading, as some seem to report errors and corrupted torrents with 1.3.7. So I'm stuck.

Re: deluge not downloading

All of a sudden, I started having this problem too. I didn't update or anything, but even with many seeds, it rises quickly, and then all the seeders drop off. It seems only to happen on torrents with multiple large files. I did one the other day and it worked fine. Right now, I've got one with 300 ...

Re: File associations

Okay, I fixed the file associations. You need to do it in the browser not in the control panel. I'm still having problems with that one torrent (I think it may be the torrent); but with another multi-file torrent, it didn't want to work if I left it to download all the files simultaneously. If I mar...

Re: File associations

So will it restore the file associations? I can't figure out how to do it the traditional way through the control panel.

File associations

Through my own fault, I messed up Deluge by installing another bittorrent client. Now, I can't get the file associations back so that magnet links work. I used the usual control panel to try and restore the associations; but neither Deluge nor the file types show up to re-connect the associations. C...

Re: Problems with some torrents, not others...

Thanks. I think I've narrowed down the problem somewhat. It seems only to happen with torrents with multiple, large-ish files (not counting subtitles or NFOs or samples). If I delete the torrent (but not the data) it will start working again and slowly stop. Uploading seems fine. And it seems to wor...
