Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.1 with Macports
Just noticed that all classic shortcuts like ctrl+v / c / a ... Are mapped to the alt key! Enjoy :) Oooh thank you! I did get right-click paste to work - apparently I am an idiot. I know that like most programs in OSX X11, ctrl generally takes the place of the apple key for most commands. For insta...

Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.1 with Macports
There is. But conventional keyboard shortcuts doesn't work no option nor ctrl v... But you can right-clic / paste ;) Weird, that was one of the first things I tried when command+v and ctrl+v didn't work. I got no right-click menu at all. I'll go back and hack around a bit. I'm used to just going to...

Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.1 with Macports
Yup agreed. I had recompiled poor dia after deluge-gtk and it freaked out. I bet Ethereal looks waaaaay better under gtk though. Another thing I also noticed was that there was no shared clipboard under GTK, as there is under X11, so torrents have to saved as files then loaded into deluge rather tha...

Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.1 with Macports / without X11
Hey, just figured how to avoid using X11, making deluge GUI more "mac-ish", and probably faster, by using GTK-Quartz (GTK using native OSX Quartz instead of X11) It is still a macports install method. There might be a cleaner method, I'm not a python/gtk/linux coder... Found this by just ...

Re: [HOWTO] Install Deluge 1.3.1 with Macports
It *looks* pretty much the same, a little bit cleaner, but *runs* sooooooo much faster...Cas wrote:Good work, do you have screenshots of deluge with gtk-quartz?

Re: Remove Mac as supported paltform
I followed the old guide to install version 1.2.3 some months ago and got it to work a-ok. When 1.3.0 came out I had nothing but trouble with both the old and the new updated guide, I simply couldn't get it to work. I then tried Macports (which I also used for older versions of deluge years a...

Re: Remove Mac as supported paltform
Well spoken Cas. I was actually the one who updated that guide, and, ironically enough, my "test bed" was Snow Leopard running in VirtualBox on Windows 7. I tried to make the same point you did, just not as friendly. The problem with the internet is, apparently, that it's far easier to com...

Re: Deluge.app - Native OS X Deluge Client
This is so tricky! Google isn't much help with this issue either... I understand that USER_BASE is the root directory for all Python installations (which I'd assume to be /Users/gellan/virtualenvs/delugeapp/lib/ in my case), but I've got no idea how to set it. Also, I'm gonna repost this in a new t...

Re: Remove Mac as supported paltform
Ergo there is no Deluge support for Mac. Not trying to pick on you Sammi, but the complaints here to remove Mac as a supported paltform(sic) essentially state that Mac as a supported platform should be removed because compiling Deluge on OSX is not easy. That, frankly, is bullshit. Deluge is a sour...
