In Malaysia our torrent is throttled.

I use to use utorrent before the throttle took effect, and ever since i get a measly 5kbps..............

Then i switched to Deluge and guess what, i normally get 100 kbps + and my max i ever got was 180 kbps.

So to me Deluge > Utorrent nuff said :mrgreen:

tonight i finally figured out how to get around vista and close dbus, but i was unaware of a 64-bit xp problem. which flavor? pro? the system tray scrolling is a windows-only gtk bug (doesnt happen on linux/unix)...i know it's very annoying, but i havent figured out how to get around that yet. and ...

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\deluge\torrentfiles


Just copy the files here. After you delete everything else and restart, just put back the files you copied to their original location once you startup deluge :mrgreen:

I really like Deluge as well. I tried the new 0.5.8.2 on my bro's Windows XP pc and it kept crashing quite regularly i could hardly download o_O; The previous version before that hardly crashed except now and then, and usually after the download was half way or finished downloaded. I also use vista 64 bit ultimate. I crash sometimes. Once when i install a new deluge, the deluge wouldn't start up ! To fix this problem i deleted the torrent directly from deluge when i got it to run by setting compatibility mode to windows 98. I don't recommend using that compatibility mode unles...
