Re: Deluge 0.5.9.2 not completing blocks?

Well, yes, all the data is gone for good (even though it's technically there). Other clients won't import it since the checksums are incorrect. On a side note, 0.6.0, the most recently nightly build, suffers from the same problem. Using Deluge for any downloads that take longer than a few hours seem...

Re: Deluge 0.5.9.2 not completing blocks?

Well, just had a minor power outage, and that's the end of my 17 of 19 GB download with Deluge since I cannot recheck it without losing over a week of data. I'm pretty surprised that there still has not been a bugfix for this problem. It pretty much makes the current version useless for me. It is no...

Re: Deluge 0.5.9.3 status bar is wrong

This is the same problem as reported in this thread:

http://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtop ... f=7&t=7055

Except that rechecking seems to lose the downloaded data.

Re: Deluge 0.5.9.2 not completing blocks?

I tested this a bit more. The "blocks" complete at the end, but the speed at which the individual files' progress bars advance is incorrect. It starts very slowly and then accelerates until at the end the torrent and file completion hit 100% at the same time. To illustrate this, here's an ...

Re: Deluge 0.5.9.2 not completing blocks?

Hmm, I think I can confirm this. The overall completion rate is shown as 43%. If I look at the progress of the individual files (about 200 of them, each 100 MB), the average completion seems to be 25% (which would match the completion percentage when I switched to 0.5.9.2). There are only a few file...

Re: Issue with "checking" -- half the data gone?

Happy to report that this appears to have been fixed in 0.5.9.2! :) It checks properly now. For testing purposes, I went back to 0.5.9.1, and half the data was skipped again. So, seems to have been a bug that struck only if some conditions were met.

Same here. To answer the question: Right-click on the desktop, select "Create Launcher", and use "deluge" in the "command" field. It should add the proper icon automatically.

Re: Issue with "checking" -- half the data gone?

The file chunks had been evenly spread out. After rechecking, only half of them are recognized. The checking skips every other 10%, and it isn't even trying to read the tenth inbetween two tenths that it reads (I hope this makes sense). Also, this only seems to happen with torrents that consist of a...

Re: Issue with "checking" -- half the data gone?

More on this: It seems that checking/rechecking simply skips every other 10%. It scans from 0 to 10%, skips directly to 20% and scans through to 30%, skips straight to 40%, etc. That is why it shows only half the size. Graphically, it looks like this: http://i27.tinypic.com/2dc8p5f.png This also hap...
