Re: How should I educate myself so that....
Thanks for your advices. They sound more doable than my master's advice which was to read about sockets, streams and all that technical stuff that I have never been in contact with before. Right now I'm learning how to use PHP Zend Framework so I guess I stick to my original plan which is to read an...

How should I educate myself so that....
How should I educate myself so that I one day in the future can contribute code to the Deluge project? I'm starting to take an interest in the torrent technology and want to get involved somehow, but I don't really know how I can reach this dream. Any suggestions or advices? Like do you really have ...

Where can I find the latest Debian Etch package to download?
Where can I find the latest and Official Debian Etch package to download? I've seen some threads where people go into the script and patch stuff up. I'm not that skilled so I just gonna mess up my system. So the noobiest method is prefered when installing Deluge on Debian Etch. Howto undo these comm...

Using Deluge with bash?
Hi I'm playing around with shell programming over here. And I'm looking for a way to administer Deluge on a remote host. I'm looking for a Deluge-terminal-command I can use in my shell script to see what port is used for the remote Deluge host. OR to put it in another way. I want to perform the buil...

Re: Default Deluge settings?
Why is the default optimal setting for Deluge different from the optimal setting for Azureus? What is so different about the way Deluge handles connections as opposed to Azureus to justify the difference? I'm no coder or protocol engineer so I can't say how they have reasoned. But from an outsiders...

Re: How can I make Deluge as fast as Azureus?
Most of my Azureus vs. Deluge observations comes from when I was forced to make the switch approximately 1 year ago. I should probably try to setup Azureus to make a more updated comparison. But they seem to have removed Azureus from the Ubuntu repository it's been like this for over 6 months. So I ...

Re: Anyone with Comcast notice more sandvining?
I don't know but according to The Register article and the Wiki it doesn't look good being a Comcast subscriber. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/08/22/comcast_throttles_bittorrent_users/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandvine#Controversy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comcast#Reputation_for_poor_cust...

Someone should write something about Deluge in the sub-Wiki
I'm reading about the torrent protocol here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent ... 9#See_also
and misses Deluge on this comparison list. Someone should write something about Deluge in this sub-link.
