What is Deluge? Deluge is a lightweight, Free Software, cross-platform BitTorrent client. I dont think it can be considered lightweight anymore. With 38MB installer and a 200MB+ install in Windows i can hardly call it lightweight. It uses the latest GTK i think which screws with pidgin. And it does...

i like the plugin system. the plugins come with deluge but you have to activate them. like markybob said, it makes it more lightweight and customizable to the user. in the end, someone could come along and write any amount of plugins without actually asking the devs to implement a feature

i installed the svn according to the website instructions.
however, i do not know how to associate deluge with .torrent files and i do not know where deluge.bin is stored
could anyone point me in the right direction?

i have decided to revert back to deluge 0.54
but even then i had to delete my .config/deluge folder in order to work it right

this is a really big problem. i was able to get rid of it for a while, by purging deluge. then deleting the deluge folder in .config after a reinstall things were okay until i started setting things up. i suspect (i could be wrong) one of the plugins is causing this this has to be fixed asap. im run...

relax dude. deluge is still in development. it would be nice to know what version you are running. the new builds are quite stable.
and you should be careful what you post. viacom is not too happy about people getting rips of their shows.
