Re: Deluge installed on Synology NAS , but torrents die
I send my torrent files to the same folder as the files download to so have Deluge pointing there too. They disappear as soon as the download starts. I download the torrent file and 'Send to' (mapped drive on PC) the folder that Deluge is watching. Sounds like it's all working fine now. Regarding th...

Re: Deluge installed on Synology NAS , but torrents die
My downloads folder is a dedicated Share in volume1. Deluge not creating any sub folders doesn't necessarily mean that that is not the issue if it is unable to create them in the first place - and then anything inside them (I appreciate you have set permissions to what 'should' allow it to) - but al...

Re: Error: Port 1 is blacklisted after update to 2.1.1-17
Thanks for that. I can access that location and it is indeed where I backed up the conf from. I thought that was the folder to backup, thanks for the confirmation. I'm not aware of any way to access these folders from the NAS interface itself and do it from putty and backup with winscp (drag and dro...

Re: Deluge installed on Synology NAS , but torrents die
To add, Deluge does create folders upon install.
I know this because the recent update created 3 (I think) folders (eg watched) in my main download folder. If yours didn't then it could indeed be a permissions thing?

Re: Error: Port 1 is blacklisted after update to 2.1.1-17
I had big issues the last time I updated Deluge to 2.0.3-11 and it was fixed by version 2.0.3-12. I've now removed 2.1.1-17 and reverted to 2.0.3-13 and it works perfectly again. Unfortunately all of my torrents were gone. What should I have backed up to retain this information? I did back up my cor...

Error: Port 1 is blacklisted after update to 2.1.1-17
I just upgraded from 2.0.3-13 to 2.1.1-17 on my Synology NAS. Lots of settings were changed from the previous install - including download foldersm folder permissions and also changing the ports to 6881-6891 - that I think are banned from many trackers. I changed it back to the port I was using (611...

New version 2.0.3-12 release that resolves issue. No need for Python 3 as asserted above.

Re: deluge stopped after I update it !!
Yes, found it, cheers. Wasn't sure which packaeg to run - it is the cedarview one for me. Let's hope there's a fix soon. Still doing all the config again. Ports, socks5, folders and then adding all torrents back.. :(:(

Re: deluge stopped after I update it !!
I updated to 2.0.3-11 and it stopped working, same as OP. I installed Python 3 and it still didn't work. Rebooted - the same. I then tried to uninstall Python 2.7 but it said Deluge was a Dependency of it and that needed uninstalling first. I uninstalled Deluge and then Python 2.7. I then installed ...
