Re: Seems deluge doesn't work peoperly with libtorrent 0.16.
Ah yes, now I remember - simply re-merging didn't work for me at first either, I needed to unmerge/remerge fully because apparently the python stuff would not be rebuilt correctly.

Re: Seems deluge doesn't work peoperly with libtorrent 0.16.
Hi, fellow Gentoo user here. :) The problem you are seeing happens because rb_libtorrent changed its major version number, but the native part of deluge was previously built for an older version (.so.5), which is now gone. All you need do to is to re-merge deluge itself, which will then build agains...

Re: Update libtorrent with deluge 1.3.3
I know this is an old post and all but are there any thoughts on how to do this in windows? The easiest way is to extract libtorrent from the upstream msi package. Download the prebuilt libtorrent package for Windows (from Google Code), extract it manually (see http://thebackroomtech.com/2009/05/20...

Deluge uses libtorrent under the hood, which supports uTP: http://www.rasterbar.com/products/libtorrent/utp.html

Re: Deluge 1.3.3. generally not working properly on Windows

Thanks for your patience.

Re: Deluge 1.3.3. generally not working properly on Windows
If people can test this so we know if the newer version has fixed the issues. Thanks for the update instructions. 0.15.8 is rock-solid on Linux (using it 24/7), but Windows does not seem to be fixed at all yet. I still observe at least two kinds of symptoms, tested on XP SP3 (32bit, no virus checke...

Re: Deluged Hangs Randomly After Downloading a Torrent
Hi - this is not going to help much, but I just saw exactly this symptom yesterday on WindowsXP, connected to the daemon on localhost (using the refreshed 1.3.3 with the latest libtorrent). I had to stop the daemon, and even repeated attempts to get the torrent going again failed in the same manner:...
